Are you trying to make some extra money online with an affiliate program? Is your affiliate program actually making you money or is it just another in the long line of disappointing affiliate programs that haven't made you a dime? |
Here are some points to consider when choosing an affiliate program.
1.) Commission. It must be a good commission rate so you're actually making a profit if you have advertising costs. I don't promote an affiliate program unless it pays me a minimum of 40% commission.
2.) Support and Tools. Can you contact the management if you need help? Does the affiliate program provide tools to help you promote the product? |
3.) Competitions. Does the affiliate program run competitions to encourage affiliates to promote the product? |
4.) Regular commission payments. Does the program pay its affiliates on a regular basis? For example, every two weeks or every month? |
5.) Low refund rate. Does the affiliate program sell a good product? There's no point trying to promote a poorly designed product that has a large percentage of refunds because those refunds will cut into your commissions.

If you keep the above tips in mind when considering the merits of an affiliate program, you may find an affiliate program that you can actually make money promoting. |
